The bomb went BOOM

BOOM went the bomb

The soldiers got bumps

Bumps the soldiers got

Blisters from the boots

The boots gave blisters

Broken bones and blood

Blood and broken bones

Socks had  a smell of smoke

Smokey smelly socks

Soldiers shook in surprise and shock

Shocked soldiers shaking in surprise

Drowsy doctors in dirt and dust

Dusty doctors dirty and drowsy

Why do kayaks wobble?

There are lots of reasons why kayaks wobble.  

Getting In

Kayaks have a round bottom which makes them unstable.

Always stand in the middle when you get in.

Sitting

Sit up tall and put your feet evenly in the kayak.  If your feet are uneven, you could wobble in.

On The Water

Try not to lean over side to side.

If you wobble, put the oar out like an arm.

In the waves

If a wave comes, lean towards the wave.  

Use your abs to help stop you wobbling.

1. Round bottom
2. Feet uneven
3. Lean to one side
4. Waves
5. If you don’t use your abs
