Learning to make whole tens

Belinda and me leaned all week how to find the nearest whole tens.  Whole tens are numbers that have a zero on the end.  We used the number line to count up.  It was tricky and hard to do.

Birdie

I am the eagle  and I  feel peckish for a yummy squirrel snack.  It will taste delicious.  I am very happy because  I want to eat  the squirrel. I'll eat him on a piece of bread.  I am quite  zoomy and always tricky.  In the middle of the night I’ll grab the squirrel, he’ll  be trapped in my house all night, I’ll grab him by a nutty trap.  If  I don’t catch him I’d feel sad and annoyed.

Rhyming words

I'm proud of myself to think of lots of rhyming words at school.  I made a poem about a scary night.  In the end I was finally safe.  It was only a dream!
